I’ve mentioned it here before on this blog, but I want to make this absolutely clear: I’m not a technologist. I’m a marketing person. And when I say “marketing,” I don’t mean product marketing. Rather, I lean more towards the marcoms side. But that doesn’t – and shouldn’t – mean that I don’t know anything about the technology surrounding me or have an interest in it. Quite to the contrary, I believe that in order to effectively “market” something, one must have at the very minimum at least a cursory knowledge of the trappings behind it.
