It’s that time of the year again, when we look back at what transpired in the last year, reflect (not too much, really) on what could have been different, but mostly look forward to a new year of possibilities and promises.
It was a big deal, right?
Well, I’d like to think it’s still a big deal, otherwise I am really worried about the future for my children. But it’s not something to be taken lightly – CSR doesn’t necessarily translate into more sales, and it doesn’t mean instant success. In a cutthroat business environment, where every dollar counts, it’s hard to make a case for a company to invest in CSR, particularly if the return on this investment is not immediate or may be many years forward.
